The UIF Labour Activation Programme is an employment-focused initiative of the Unemployment Insurance Fund designed to help unemployed South Africans gain skills, workplace exposure and sustainable employment.
Approved programmes may support eligible costs connected to bringing unemployed beneficiaries into the workplace, including training, beneficiary stipends and certain approved workplace requirements, subject to the applicable funding agreement.
